GEO. GRANT CONSTRUCTION

Ford Motor Company

In its time one of the largest construction projects ever undertaken in the Twin Cities area, the St. Paul Assembly Plant project included construction of the steam plant located on the Mississippi River just below the Ford Dam, which powers the entire Ford Complex. Over the years, Grant has continued to work for the Ford Motor Company, building major additions to assembly lines and several plant expansions, at a cost of millions of dollars. Most recently, in 1979, Grant completed a major addition to the complex's dock facilities and a remodeling of the assembly line.
